Who we are

Run by Lead Ranch, in Calgary

Airdrie Garage Builders is run by Lead Ranch, a small Calgary business that connects homeowners and businesses with local trades. We are not a contractor and we don’t do the work ourselves.

We make money when the builder pays us a referral fee. You never pay us anything, and you’re never obliged to hire the builder we refer.

How it works

1. You send a request through the form or by phone.
2. We pass it to one vetted builder that serves your area.
3. They contact you directly to price the job. From there, you deal with them.
4. We follow up to check you were contacted and treated well.

Cost ranges, rules and permit details on this site come from public sources, checked when each page was last updated. Prices are general guides, not quotes. The builder you hire prices your actual job.

Our standards

How we choose who we refer

Before a builder gets a single referral, we check:

• An active Alberta prepaid contractor licence, which requires a bond, checked in Service Alberta’s registry
• A business licence for the town they work in, where the town requires one
• Liability insurance and a WCB clearance letter
• Permits on every job, and a written quote before any work starts
• Recent reviews or a past customer we can call
• Calls you back within one business day

We follow up after each referral, and we stop referring any builder that falls short. More about how we work.

After we refer you

What we do, and what we don’t

• Not the right fit? Tell us, and we’ll connect you with another vetted builder in your area where we have one.
• Your contract is with the builder. The quote, deposit, schedule and warranty are between you and them. We’re not a party to it.
• A problem? Email quotes@airdriegaragebuilders.ca. We’ll follow up, and complaints that aren’t resolved mean no more referrals.
• Deposit protection. The prepaid contractor licence requires a bond. If a licensed contractor takes your deposit and doesn’t deliver, you may be able to claim against it through Service Alberta.
